Built for your obligations

Whatever regulates you, your social media is in scope.

Records laws did not stop at email. Every state and territory, the Commonwealth and New Zealand treat content made in the course of official business as potentially a record, and FOI, GIPA and RTI requests can reach it.

Local government

Councils and shires under state records acts, FOI, GIPA and RTI, with comment threads the community expects you to stand behind. Guidance for every state, territory and New Zealand.

The platform

Your archive shouldn't just sit there.

Three products on one platform — the record, what it tells you, and the protection wrapped around it.

Archive — the defensible record

Real-time capture of posts, comments, edits, deletions and media, with metadata, revision history and digital checksums. Records that stand up to FOI, audits and inquiries.

Protect — action, in real time

AI moderation that hides abusive, brand-damaging comments and scam spam in seconds, while the archive quietly keeps a record of exactly what was hidden, and why.

Straight answers

Asked before every rollout. Answered.

Is social media really subject to our recordkeeping obligations?
Often, yes. Content created or received on official channels in the course of business can fall within your state or territory recordkeeping requirements and freedom of information laws, including comments, edits and content that was later deleted. That is why capture needs to happen in real time. General information, not legal advice.
What exactly does Brolly capture?
Posts, comments and replies, reactions, edits, deletions, shared images and video, and direct messages where the platform API provides them, each with its metadata, timestamps and a digital checksum that preserves chain of custody. Brolly connects to Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok through official APIs.
Can records flow into our EDRMS?
Yes. The Content Manager integration sends records from the archive into your EDRMS, so social media records live alongside the rest of your records. You choose which records to send; short-lived promotional content does not have to go in.
Where is our data stored?
Your data is stored on AWS cloud servers located in Australia. Brolly is 100% Australian owned and operated, with an Australian support team. Brolly Australasia Pty Ltd is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified and CSA STAR registered.
We already take screenshots. Why is that not enough?
A screenshot is out of date the moment someone edits a comment, deletes one or adds a new reply. It also carries no metadata and cannot show it has not been altered. Brolly records keep timestamps, revision history and a digital checksum, so the record can stand on its own.
How long does setup take?
Minutes. Connect your accounts, confirm retention settings, and capture begins straight away. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, no credit card required, with unlimited accounts and users.
