Built for your obligations

Whatever regulates you, your social media is in scope.

Records laws did not stop at email. All 50 states recognize social media created in the course of official business as a public record — and response windows run as short as 3 business days.

Government

Counties, cities, state agencies and federal agencies, subject to FOIA, state public records laws and the Federal Records Act. Where “we don’t have it” is not an answer, with state-by-state guidance for all 50 states.

Insights — what the record tells you

Your archive is a goldmine of facts. Engagement, sentiment and keyword analytics across every channel — and risk signals like spikes in edits, deletes and hides.

Protect — action, in real time

AI moderation that hides hateful, brand-damaging comments and scam spam in seconds — while the archive quietly keeps a record of exactly what was hidden, and why.

Straight answers

Asked before every rollout — answered.

Is social media really a public record?
In many cases, yes. Content created or received in the course of official business can qualify as a record under federal law and the public records laws of all 50 states — whether it lives in an email, a document or a social media thread. That includes comments from the public, edits and content that was later deleted, which is why capture has to happen in real time.
What exactly does Brolly capture?
Posts, comments and replies, reactions, edits, deletions, shared images and video, and direct messages where the platform API provides them — each with its metadata, timestamps and a digital checksum that preserves chain of custody. Brolly connects to Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok through official APIs.
We already take screenshots. Why is that not enough?
Screenshots miss metadata, timestamps, edit history and deletions — and they cannot prove they have not been altered. A defensible record carries its own evidence. Brolly records include digital checksums and audit logs that stand up to legal scrutiny.
How fast can we respond to a records request?
In minutes. Run a saved search across every connected account, review the full conversation including edits and deletions, and export a complete package as PDF, CSV, HTML or JSON. The scramble disappears because the record was ready before the request arrived.
How long does setup take?
Minutes. Connect your accounts, confirm retention settings, and capture begins immediately. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial — no credit card, Archive and Monitoring included.
Who in our organization uses Brolly?
Records officers and clerks run search and export. Communications teams use capture, monitoring and moderation day to day. Counsel and compliance pull audit logs when a request, audit or dispute lands.

The request will come. Be the team with the answer.
