Victorian government social media records are public records

Victorian state and local government must comply with commonwealth and state laws for managing social media records. Relevant Victorian Acts include The Public Records Act 1973, Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014, Freedom of Information Act 1982 and other Acts that might apply to the sector you serve.

A social media archive is not just best practice. It’s also a legal requirement.
